Trade in offer

I had upgraded my phone to s20 and was going to use the 'Extra £100' trade in offer I was given when I upgraded but was unable to as the o2 recycle was closed due to Covid. I see it is now open again to trade in but will the trade in voucher / offer still be honoured even though it says it has to be sent in by 4th May which was impossible to do. I want this to be confirmed before sending in my phone to be recycled.
