Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the forum. You need to register the card first before you can make payment this way. However some people are experiencing issues with the automated system and are now finding a voucher is the best way to top up until things get sorted. There are various other ways to top up... Have a look at this guide (scroll down to payg) http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Ways-to-pay-guidelines/m-p/874982

I am going to mention @Toby the community manager here...as we were discussing this issue last week.

It appears they are having issues accepting some card payments. They are working on a fix. You will need to buy a voucher from your local pay point store.

You can only use a UK card too so unless you have a UK registered bank account you will need to use other methods.

There are some problems for some customers with the processing of online payments so it may be worth you calling CS on 4445 to top up or biy a voucher until it's sorted out.

If you have online banking you will be able to top up within the app itself which means you can bypass O2's flawed system.
