Just got a pay as you go SIM card. Trying to top up on the phone and on the internet using more than one card but my top up is not being accepted. Any suggestions please?

As I suspected, however, some do find it helps to do it first via voucher.

No mate, I'm not confused at all.
I understand that technically it's not a requirement, but I also know that some people have been unable to do a first top up online and so have used a voucher first which then allowed them to top up online in subsequent months.
