So today is the first day of the final month of a 24-month contract taken out on 04-Jan-2020.
I check my MyO2, it says:
Whoop-de-doo!
I double-check (who trusts computers?) by sending an SMS to 85075, with the word "INFO", and that tells me:
The question is: Which if the two is right? 🤔

The second message is pretty off putting @pgn
However, I think it must be a standard template they use and then fill in the amount owing?
Which I suppose is a warning if some people have 300-400 left to pay?
With you it's £26.40 which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I do think they should remove that top 'warning' sentence though.
It should start 'If you decide to upgrade today your balance remaining is £ xxxxx'
My opinion for what it's worth.😂

That is true, @Cleoriff - and "This amount will be included in the settlement of account when your first bill after any upgrade is released"
I.e, your bill will contain adjustments as O2 bill a month in advance.
It's not really very joined-up, when I look at it, especially if I was thinking of leaving O2 🤔

Hey @pgn so we got some info about this:
Your My O2 is correct that you can upgrade with no penalties. You just pay off any remaining device plan payments and you're good to go.
85075 is the "Text to Switch" number. This assumes you're leaving O2 and so assumes you won't be "upgrading" and instead leaving so you'd need to pay the fees listed.
Hope that makes sense!

I would have thought that the £26.40 is the last month of the old contract, so once that's paid off then there is no outstanding balance @pgn ?

Yes, that is it exactly, @gmarkj - a bundled contract, so no separate airtime and Device Plan. Odd that the other number seems to have a Penalty fee, it shouldn't, as the STAC pages indicate Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]

Well, on the plus side, 5 days after Upgrade, with no prompting from me, my 10GB data, which had been boosted to 30GB by the reseller's deal, went up by another 10GB thanks to Volt kicking back in - 40GB a month is more than adequate for my needs.
The Volt Travel Inclusive appeared also, so I am not too worried that my paltry 10GB tariff appears not to be a Plus Plan which qualifies for Travel Inclusive outright, as outlined here but little-publicised by O2:
Sometimes, the system works. 🙃
