My daughter has a iphone 5 and is having problems sending texts, there are not I message texts, just standard ones, took it to O2 and they gave her a new sim, but still having the same problem, everything else works as it should. Any ideas welcome please

Take a look here at the signal in the area the phone is being used http://status.o2.co.uk/ if no problems are showing try taking the SIM card out and giving it a wipe clean then re insert

I would suggest taking the sim out and giving it a wipe if that doesn't work you could get a new sim free from any O2 store also try resetting the phone by holding the power and home buttons together until the apple logo appears

Just been in touch with 02 as not receiving texts. They said network congested which could be the same issue with sending?
