Hi guys,

So, for the last week or so my texts have been intermittently not sending and some are not arriving.

I put it down to being in the living room where my signal is bad, but it's now doing it constantly and cs are closed atm....

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If cleaning the sim doesn't help, go into network settings and force the phone onto EE or another network manually. When that fails, put it back to Auto and that should reset it and force any stuck messages through.

Check your postcode here as there may be ongoing work or a network issue in your location http://status.o2.co.uk/

Have you tried your sim in another O2 phone to rule your phone out?

Try your postcode in this

No not yet, that was my next move... Tbh I was hoping for someone to say don't worry it's a glitch and they're working on it lol!!

Right, I'll swap phones and see if it's the handset.

Right guys the sim is in my Samsung and nope they're still not working. I've had the configuration texts and I can make calls and get onto 4g....

I'm going to put the sim back into the Moto G 4g and see if forcing a roam does anything. Although that was the first thing I did, I'll give it another shot.

Next thing I'd suggest if that fails is still a signal issue or you could pop into your local O2 store & get a new sim & ask them to do a sim swap to rule the sim out or you could pick up a sim then do the sim swap online yourself, though it will take up to 24 hours for the swap to complete but usually quicker

@jonsie thanks mate, it seems that the manual roam when I put the sim back into the moto g has forced me back onto the network (or whatever lol it's worked).! I've set your reply as the best answer, I hope it helps with the rewards wink

Thanks for everyones time I appreciate it.

Nice one, hope it's a permanent fix for you but maybe a new simcard would be of benefit long term, it costs nothing at the O2 store and is more often than not swapped in minutes rather than hours.:smileyhappy:
