Texts abroad help please

My girlfriend is travelling to Costa Rica on Monday and she is on vodaphone and is going to purchase the world traveller pack so that she can use her texts calls and internet I'm just wondering will this charge me thanks? Pay monthly

No charge to you at all for texting any UK number no matter where they are.

It is always free for you regardless of the pack she has.
The pack only benefits her when abroad.
It is also free for you to answer your phone.

If you are in the UK, calling another UK number will be a standard call, regardless of where the person you are calling is located. If they are outside the UK at the time of the call, THEY get charged for the international part of the call – that is the roaming charge.

Sending texts tends to follow a similar pattern to making calls:

If you are in the UK, any text to a UK registered phone is a “standard” text.. ie between 2 UK based networks.

If you are in the UK when your girlfriend calls you from Costa Rica. YOU wont be charged to receive the call.

You're not calling abroad. You're calling a UK phone but hey, you can choose to believe me or not, your choice mate.
