In the last month Ive switched from Vodafone to O2 and there are certain people I can't receive text messages from, O2 can't seem to work out why.
I've deleted cache, data, put it into safe mode, checked the number isn't blocked but nothing has worked.
Thanks

Or you could pop instore, (if you have one close by) and see if an O2 Guru is able to help?

Hi, I've tried all of this and I'm still having problems. The text messages are going to my old handset, even though there is no registered network on it. There's obviously a problem with the switch from Vodafone to O2

No sorry, I've switched my old handset on and the text messages have gone through to it even though there is no network. Something has obviously gone wrong in the switch over

@HL1

Sounds like imessages going to old iPhone because it's still logged into your Apple ID.

Log out on your old phone and login on your new one then go to Settings >Phone >My Number and make sure you have the correct number in there.

Hi @HL1

Have you an O2 store you could visit? I'm sure someone could sort this out if you explained the issue and they could troubleshoot while you wait.

Which app are you using for messaging?
