May I ask, what does termination notice mean exactly? Is it 30 days? I am on a redemption contract via mobiles.co.uk.

I was wondering when does it start? Date of placing the PAC request or may be date of using the PAC and moving to a different provider?

Do I have to write to O2 to let them know before the 30 days to end of my contract to not incur any additional charges?

Thanks,

Hi @xtreem_neo You normally have to give 30 days notice before contract end otherwise it continues as a 30 day rolling contract. Have a look at this link (it includes contract cancellation from third party sellers)..

http://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/cancelling-your-o2-contract

There is also a useful guide from one of our members which includes advice about ending contracts and getting your PAC

Your contract won't end until you use your PAC.
Once your number transfers to a new provider your o2 account is terminated and a final bill is generated.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Just to add to the good advice from @Cleoriff and @MI5, if you use your PAC to cancel, do not stop your Direct Debit until you receive your final bill and your balance is zero.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
