Switching to a Sim only deal

My contract is due to end in June. I wish to stay with o2 and wish to keep my existing phone. Can I do this by getting a Sim only deal without having to go through the rig mar ole of cancelling and re-signing back up?

Yes you can. Just choose UPGRADE to sim only.

That will work and nothing else needs to be done

The tariff will change automatically.

Does my contract need to up for that option to become available? All I'm offered is New Phone or New Device/other. I don't get the option for Sim Only

The SIM only option won't appear until your device is fully paid off.
