Switching from iphone 4S to Sony XP1

Hi

Apologies if there's an answer to this subject already but there were soooooo many postings and I don't have the time to scroll through everyone so thought I post my own and hope someone responds helpfully.

I currently have an iphone and want to switch to sony xp1.  How easy/difficult would this be in terms of transferring my music, contacts etc from iphone to sony?  I'm not a tech savvy person so would appreciate any form of help i.e. will o2 help me with this if I go directly to an o2 shop?  Let me know please.

Thanks.

Amrit

Hi

Any music purchased through iTunes will be coded to stay on there ref the license for copyright for it to be played through iTunes and associated idevices.

There are various solutions to move ripped music from one platform to another.

Google search will highlight these.

I've asked for this to be moved to its own thread too.

There are programmes you can use to move content from your iTunes to Google accounts, but it depends on how you got your music into iTunes in the first place.
Contacts are easy and apps cannot be transferred at all.

Thanks guys it looks like I'll have to do some further research on google as my tunes were all downloaded from iTunes. I certainly do not want to be stuck with an iPhone if I do not choose to be any longer.
