Switched from Three to O2. Number hasn't been transferred

Hello.

I switched from Three to O2. I gave O2 a PAC code to transfer my number from Three.

However, the number hasn't changed. It has been a few days.

How can I chase O2 to transfer my number over? When I call 020 it gives me a bunch of automated messages that are very unhelpful.

Cheers.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

As it all depends on when you gave o2 the PAC code and if you got a text back with a date

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I am also having the same problem - I provided a PAC number to o2 at the time of purchasing a new sim so expected the number to be ported fairly soon after receiving/activating the new sim.

It's insanely difficult trying to speak to an actual person through the phone. The automated messages all direct you back to your online account, which is unhelpful to say the least.

If you haven't already, try using the online form to submit the port request (make sure you've set your security Q&A on your online account beforehand as you'll need this for the form). The form itself isn't very clear that it's for porting numbers across to o2. I ended up submitted the form twice on separate days, as it seemed like nothing was happening.

If it still hasn't ported within the SLA, speak with their live agents via the online chat. They were able to look into it and confirm that the port was in progress.

Here's hoping that I'll get my number ported by tomorrow. Good luck with yours.
