Solved: Switch to O2 while abroad

Hi all,

I am looking to switch to a pay monthly plan with O2, but I am currently abroad (EU) and will be for the next few months.

If I make the switch, (I assume I can transfer my number to O2) will I be able to receive the esim via email or app and activate it while abroad?

Risky, may or may not see the eSIM delivered.

Also, roaming in the EU is limited to 63 days, so you will eventually fall foul of the fair usage policy

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
