I currently have two contracts under the one account with O2:

  • A sim only plan that is about half way through a 12 month contract
  • An phone on a Refresh Plan that is about half way through

Is it possible to swap the phone numbers between the two contracts so that the number that is currently on the Refresh Plan moves to the Sim Only plan and vice versa, without paying any penalties?

many thanks for any help.

kind regards

No unfortunately not possible.

Nope you would have to pay off & cancel the number that you don’t want in full

You could put the sim-only sim card into the phone and put the Refresh sim into the other device instead - you can try and adjust your tariff allowances via MyO2 if you need more/less data, minutes or texts based on the device the sim cards are in?

Edit: Just noticed this is an older thread, sorry!
