Hi I have completed swap through txt message and definitely entered the correct serial number for new sim.

Its nearly 24hrs since I have done it although my old sim stopped working few minutes after I don’t the txt and now nearly a full day without being able to use my phone.

When I insert new sim to iPhone 12 it says “no sim “

There no live chat and the automated service is shocking and unable to speak to human on helpline

What do I do ?

You need to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
Also try 0800 977 7793

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It may just be a temporary bar on the phone that O2 need to lift, but if not, they can reactivate your old sim whilst the send you a replacement 5g one.

So I got speaking to someone finally yesterday, they think it’s something wrong with the new sim card so they have sent out an replacement.

I asked to reactivate my old number which they did as it started working few hours after.

Now this morning the old sim is no longer working so once again I’m out of the house all day with no way of making or recovering a call....
