I was in that much excitement that I forgot to swap my sim before wiping my old phone. Is there anything I can do as I can’t currently receive calls or texts.

O2 and Apple send texts to my number but my new 5G sim does not receive the texts and I have cleared the old phone.

Thank you but other than going in to a store all these solutions suggest texting a number or to be sent an activation text. I am currently unable to send and receive texts.

Just skip through the setup on your old phone and it will then allow you to receive texts on your old SIM.

There's no need to follow the setup routine fully.
