Hello.

I keep getting telephone calls to my mobile claiming to be from O2 and offering me discounts on my bill.  When I ask for confirmation that the calls are from O2 by asking for my postcode I and told that they cannot do so until I have responded to a text message that will be sent to me.

Are theses genuine calls, please?

No. And that text will contain a One Time Passcode. Give that code to them and they have access to your account.

It's a well known scam. Block and report the number

Phishing, Smishing & Scams. Latest info & advice.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
