I have been scammed out of £4.50 - arising from three premium rate texts that I received. I had been trying to download a NCP app to pay a car parking bill but after selecting what seemed to be the app I ended up with something called stripey that kept texting and emailing me. Eventually I sent them an email asking them to stop since I wasn't interested and they emailed back saying they had stopped - but not before the £4.50 was scammed from me. I only discovered the loss when my monthly bill arrived. The £4.50 is neither here or there but on principle can it be recovered?

My wife's been charged £18 for this scam service that she didnt even sign up to. These scum bags need to be taken down. Why are they allowed to operate still? O2 haven't helped at all. You can't even text STOP to them as it doesnt allow messages.

@jdmiles, @Skiemcwee1 These charges happen to customers on every network. O2 can't tell you what you should or shouldn't click on. Take a look at the links posted above.
