I've recently moved a significant distance and, after updating addresses on my account, I'm still receiving the SMS alerts for work being done in my old area. I can't find any way to stop these. I tried registering on the status portal with the same mobile number, but it didn't show any existing alerts set up. How can I stop the alerts for my old area? (Or how long will the system take to notice I'm never there any more?)

In my case it took a good few weeks for them to stop, when I moved house,,,

Just be patient and they will stop.
