I wanted to stop my contract ASAP in O2 which is suppose to be finished on Sep 2019. as I’ll be out of the country for a long time and obviously to prevent being charged without using it. Is there anyway I could do this? It’ll be a big help. Thanks!

@Kameron  This is not O2. This is a customer community. You cannot just stop your contract. If you're on a Refresh contract you can pay off your device, and give a month's notice to cancel the airtime. Please take a look at this guide: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/ba-p/566774

End the contract as outlined by @Bambino and get your phone unlocked to use a local sim card for whichever country you will be in.

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1...

Also have your number transferred to a P&G sim so that you don't lose the number when you come back to the UK.
