3 weeks and my old number still hasn't ported across. Lost signal on my old SIM a fortnight ago, phoned customer service around the same time and they said it is still going through.
Blaming the whole Covid19 situation which is fair enough, but it's more than a minor inconvenience now.
Also a bloody nightmare to get through to customer service without lying.

Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

@BiggBallz

Porting is taking ages due to the current situation.

If you need to contact O2 then use the numbers in this advice guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Thanks Cleoriff that is helpful.

There is on your link, a small paragraph explaining the situation that puts my mind at ease somewhat. So long as it is going to port. I can wait a bit longer but it's hard for folk to contact me.
I have had my old number for going on twenty years so I really don't want to lose it.
