Still getting charged for the phone I switched up from.

I recently switched from an iPhone 15 pro to an S25 (which I'm now rather regretting!), and after multiple calls and assurances from O2 that the situation will be resolved, am still getting charged for the phone that I have been told was received in an acceptable condition at their warehouse. Has anyone else been able to convince O2 to get this issue sorted for them or am I doomed to pay for this forever?

I'm quite grumpy about this since technically it's a line of credit taken out in my name, for a device that I have returned in a way that they've acknowledged, but still refuse to settle!

One for @Dave-O2 (the Forum Manager) on Monday, by the looks of it. Expect a reply here asking for more info via Private Message so he can chase it up for you. Good luck, @qortilla.

So many customers have the very same problem

We try to warn people what will happen  but they come to the community only after the the situation arises

It's not just the risk to their credit rating but their bank accounts take a hit with paying for two phones

The apathy from O2 customer service just adds to the problem

What a truly awful way to run a business

Everyone struggling to juggle their finances should take O2 to the small claims court

Hi Dave, I am also having a similar issue. I did a switch up on the 16pro max and got an email confirming that it was received and passed all checks. Now my bill for  says that o2 will deduct £972 from my account on october 15th? I have called up the call center. They said it was a mistake, sent me a text to say my loan for the 16pro max had been cleared and that it will ‘drop’ off the bill in a few days. It hasnt though. If I get charged £972 there will be very bad legal action taken against o2!
