7 days later and I'm still waiting for the £1 bolt on to be credited back to my account ... called on 20th December and was told that as a goodwill gesture it would be refunded ... still nothing .. why are there always masses of problems with o2 - you are very quick to debit money but frightful at putting it back in .. Please advise

Do you mean a refund for the Daily Web charge? Any refund on a P&G phone should show up within 24 hours. As it would cost 25p to call customer service I would suggest you use the webchat option to contact them again.

Have you figured out why it happened and made sure it can't happen again?

If you use the service you will be charged for it.

Yes .. it was for a day's extra data useage which was not what I had asked for .... I will use the livechat when it is up and running although have not had the best service from them either.

thank you

I won't be using it again as my data useage has increased ... but I was told by customer services that they would refund it - it's not a large amount of money but I see no reason if a refund promised that it is not carried out.

As long as data is turned off on the phone there will be no data charges, if you turn it on the phone is likely to connect immediately causing the charge.
