Stepping back!

Right, I'm looking to change from my iPhone 6s Plus back to a basic Nokia 216. I'm currently still in contract but I'm happy to pay that off that's not a problem, but can I keep my number and just use it on a pay monthly sim only deal in the little Nokia 216? If so I would get a sim only deal with some data minutes and texts and would that be okay for the basic internet and Facebook app used on the Nokia 216? All help greatly appreciated as in store I was just pushed towards going down to an older iPhone 5c or the iPhone SE. I'd like to go back to a basic cheap Nokia and use just a sim only monthly deal. Many thanks.

Yes you can do this. If on a Refresh contract just pay off the device and ask customer service for a sim only contract or even P&G. You will keep your number.

Make sure you have the right sized sim, you can pick one up at the O2 store if necessary, and make sure O2 change you from idata to standard data.

It sounds from your post that you want to continue paying your contract and just buy a Nokia outright?
If so, just put your sim in the Nokia and call customer service to change the data package.
You can run like this until your contract is up when you can then change to simo.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
