Started a £10 a month contract in March... and bill has gone up immediately!

Surely this can't be right? I understand that prices rise in April but having signed up to a contract less than a month ago and have it increase immediately is ridiculous!

From my first bill I can see that I haven't even had 1 month charged at £10, it's absolutely laughable.

@simonliu79

As stated at the ordering stage, any contracts taken before March 25th are going to be effected by the annual price increase.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@simonliu79

It will be the hefty RPI increase starting from April.

Having signed up to a £10 contract which never once would be charged at £10 seems rather disingenuous no?

I agree completely @simonliu79

However, I can only sympathise.

Have a chat with O2 social media team and see if they will offer you a discount.

Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Called them and after a conversation they've agreed to let me cancel the contract with no early termination fee.
