I've recently signed up to O2 from Vodafone and I now have a "split port".Half my calls and SMS are going to the vodafone SIM and half are going to O2. Every time I call O2 customer services they are extremely unhelpful and just say "The port has worked" or "Have you tried turning your phone off and on again. This is really frustrating as you can imagine because I need to keep switching between two SIM cards.
Can someone contact me to get this resolved? I fear I'm going to have to change my number.

That is great news @gejjaxxita
If the port is complete, then dont know how they will bill, you as the last part of the porting process is to close down the active account.. Good Luck with Vodafone..

I spoke to soon...
@O2Waqas I've just received a text from Vodafone saying that my PAC has now expired, my service won't be cancelled and I will continue to be charged in the normal way. I called them and they said that the port is still "On hold" and they blame O2 saying the port hasn't completed successfully still. Can you look into this?

What a complete shower!
I have a similar issue with a split port and no one is O2 CS has ever heard of it and nor do they seem to know how to deal with it.
My history is I ported from THREE.
Since then, I haven't been able to receive called or texts from Vodafone. I had to do my own research to discover it's a split port. CS have had me do all sorts of stupid things with my phone and sim.
I have been trying for the last 10 days to make someone understand what's going on.
3 times now, they CS agents have promised to deal with it personally and keep me informed, so far I had one text from 'mel' last week and since then nothing.
On Saturday, one CS agent was really very rude, and I had to ask them to send me a recording of the conversation - of course they didn't. Yesterday I made two calls. neither fruitful.
I am still stuck.
I assume the Vodafone portion of the porting / routing file(s) is corrupt, so no amount of asking for the port info again seems to help. Does anyone know, how the file can be re-created?

Here is a positive post and a good outcome.
Thank you to @O2Lisa for chasing the porting team and thank you to them for finally sorting this out.
I have no idea what they have done or why it took so many attempts and phone calls.
But the result is, I can now receive texts and calls from my customers on Vodafone.
Thanks folks
