How long for a spend cap too take effect

It's usually applied at the beginning of your billing cycle. They won't apply it halfway through a month as far as I am aware

Oh ok. The guru said it would be active straight away ... but the text said within 24hour. But thank you for your answer that makes sense

24 hours sounds about right, Usually after the system updates around midnight each day.
