Hi Guys,

Just upgraded to a uswitch bargain sim only, and i have just done a 4G speed test and the best i can get is around 20Mbps with around three signal bars lit.

My daughter who is on a VF tariff, can get over 100Mbps, with only two bars lit, both being on an Iphone 12.

Has O2 capped the speeds on these bargain tariffs or is it just the fact that speeds are generally low in my area?

That's average for o2.

It's usually quicker in the quiet times but they turn down mast power to conserve energy as part of their "green" campaign.
