I am looking to upgrade my phone.  I have always been with apple for as long as I can remember but the one thing apple fails badly on is operating in cold weather.

I need a phone that will work sub zero.  The Land Rover explore is good down to -30, Its something like this I need but unfortunately O2 dont supply them. Any ideas?

Hi @Quaker268

The Land rover Explore phone is available from EE and Clove

https://www.clove.co.uk/land-rover-explore

https://shop.ee.co.uk/mobile-phones/pay-monthly/land-rover-explore/details#

I don't know of any other phone which would operate as well in sub zero temperatures though

A google search didn't give me an answer.

Yeah I noticed it on EE, thanks.

I don't know too much about EE, I've been with O2 for years so I know how they operate.  I do need a phone for cold temeratures though (I'm off to Outer Mongolia).  It looks like I may have st say goodbye to O2.

Vodaphone do the Land Rover Explore too but their contract is a bit more expensive than EE

@Quaker268

I have a few family members and friends with EE and they have no complaints.

Clove sell their devices sim free, though you have to pay for the phone outright. If you have the funds to purchase from there  you could stay with O2 on a sim only plan.

O2 rates for Mongolia, for reference.
