Spam Messages: can I get my money back?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have recently been receiving spam messaged from 69877. At first I just deleted them without reading them. However, today I read one that stated I am subscribed at £3 per week. I texted stop and received confirmation. Though I fear this is a scam to reverse charge me.

I don't know how I subscribed and certainly did not opt to do so. I searched on google and the number has been reported.

I have been charged by O2 for receiving these unwanted texts last month and this month, and wondered if I can claim this money back?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, and I thanked you and still thank you for that. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

I'm not sure apportioning blame helps anyone. The best option is to pursue a refund through the company directly or through PhonePayPlus. Others have been successful this way so I wish you luck. Let us know how you get on.

Hope you get sorted....
