Hi everyone..

2-3 times per week I get this message from O2...

O2 Network Update: Xxxxx Rd, Hull HU9 XXX, UK

Sorry a phone mast in this area isn't working

This means your service might come and go until we fix it.
Our Network modernisation programme to improve 2G and 3G coverage and roll out 4G has reached this area. It does mean that you may experience intermittent service on your mobile device while our engineers 'do their thing'.
We’re sorry about that, but we’ll do our best to minimise any impact to your signal.

Terms apply.

And are you having O2 service issues in your area?

Sounds like the O2 Status tool app has been used to check service, possibly is stuck... It can be set to SMS you back a status update.

Maybe @Martin-O2 here ccan help?

It's just the message they send out when working on network upgrades.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

That’s a standard message you get when O2 are due to upgrade your local mast. They’ll send another when the upgrade is complete
