I thought these telephone subscription and text STOP to unsubscribe scams ended in the 00s. Left voice mail for them return my money. Else I'll bring the rain hard down on them as I'm one stubborn son on a ****** with principles.
Also O2 have the ability to block these subscriptions but they choose not to make it the default. Since the majority of people would want this as default, clearly O2 is making money from these scams also.

Hi @Anonymous Follow the advice in this link https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Have-you-fallen-for-or-been-conned-into-a-premium-rate-scam-What/ba-p/968023
Also though it's annoying some people are actually willing to sign up to these services. They can usually be accessed by clicking on a link via FB...

I'm not sure if O2 does have the ability to block these subscriptions, @Anonymous, but even if they did they probably wouldn't, as even though it's not you're cup of tea, some people do willingly subscribe. To block them would be censorship, so it's up to the customer to regulate his/her self.

They apparently do have a block an mine apprently has been applied. The people that sign up to these subscriptions are the exception so it should be them that call up to unblock than everyone else after they have had their money stolen.

I 100% agree as well, but that's obviously not O2's policy, and the Premium Rate bar you put on was instigated by yourself, yes? Not only that, but this bar you have is the first time I've ever heard that anyone could do that. It certainly isn't something that O2 widely advertises.
