Hi,

I have a Nexus 4 on a Simplicity tariff and I plan on upgrading to a Nexus 6 on a Refresh plan soon.

The two phones have different SIM card sizes so how do I keep the same number?  Will the phone come with a SIM with the same number and the old SIM get switched off?

Thanks.

You should get a new sim with the phone. If not, just ask for one.
If you are upgrading in store, they will do the sim swap for you.
If you do it online you can do the sim swap yourself by following this http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

The phone should come with a new sim card or simply get a free one from your O2 store. You then need to transfer your number here : http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

That's great, thanks for the quick reply.

One more question, if I then pass my Nexus 4 onto my girlfriend and she needs a new sim can I just get any o2 sim and swap the numbers using swap my sim?

Yes, same process for any sim swap but make sure she gets the correct type
ie contract and PAYG are different sim cards.
