Today fast tracked my upgrade via o2refresh sim only contract Simplicity 300. My contract was not due to expire until October 2013 but decided to upgrade now -- got a bit of a shock when i went onto MyO2 only to discover i lost 2 months of my old contract as my new contract started today 9th August -- then i noticed i was put onto pro rata mins and have only got 96 left when this morning i had 200 -- have been told by chat o2 that i get my full tarrif back when my next bill has been paid -- i am charged as from today £11 (new rate)
My bill is not due until next week then all my 300 mins etc. will then be in force again -- thank goodness i do not need to use my phone this week -- wish they would explain this when one is upgrading or even better say it would be more benifical to you to upgrade -- next week / month -- would be a great company if they would advise/help their customers instead of conning them

I agree it should be explained but it is normal practice across all networks fully understand your point though
