Sorry to be a pain again it has now been 5 months and says I still have to wait a month but yet the advisor who I had taken out the pay monthly sim with said would only be 5 months

Yes I can see that so not sure why you were told 5.

You need too call upgrades I think Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If it's your first sim only it's 3 months before you can upgrade.
