I sent a text to activate my old sim, o2 confirmed the new sim will be active ‘soon’ but that was 7 hours ago!! My old sim stopped working immediately and the new sim still isn’t working??ive been turning the phone on and off with no joy. Is this normal?

It could take up to 24 hrs.

Just keep rebooting the phone.

No, it's usually quicker that 7 hours.

If it's not working in the morning, call O2 Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

or pop into your local o2 store as your new sim may be faulty.
