I have a pay as you go sim and have recently got a new phone on a monthly contract , both with o2. I wanted to keep my existing number and thought sim swap was the quick and easy way to do this , however I'm now worried what I've done is transfer my pay as you go tarrif onto my new sim with the number ? Is that correct ?

@Whistler yes, you would have transfered your payg number and tariff but also it's an incomptible sim card as contract and payg are different.

Call in to your local o2 shop and they will sort it for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:

It will still transfer, but the settings will be wrong for data and sms.
