Hi there,
I ordered an upgrade with o2 yesterday and did a sim swap for a 5G compatible sim to keep the same number.
Almost 24 hours later and it’s still not activated. I’m now without service on my new sim and old sim so unable to contact O2 (but also unable to access any of my work emails and accounts, bank accounts etc. as everything is linked to “text to confirm identity”)
I’ve never experienced a sim needing this long to activate

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thank you. I’ve already messaged on these services but no reply since 9am.
I never realised how inconvenient it is not having my phone.
