Sim stopped working

I have had to order a new SIM card today - so my phone enables chat text messages, as I ported my number from Vodafone. Would o2 have deactivated my current sim? They didn't mention it but 5 hours after ordering the new 1 my sim is now not working and I can't text. Hopefully it turns up Tomo but I can't call to query this.

It is possible depending whether they have treated it as a lost sim rather than a replacement

If the sim hasn't arrived tomorrow it might be an idea to call into an O2 store
