Sim only upgrade from uswitch

My current deal has just expired and I’d like to upgrade to a deal I’ve found on uswitch.

 

Last time I done this I could select an option where I could upgrade my existing deal, but this time when I go to checkout, it’s just going through as a new deal and I cannot see an option for the upgrade even when signed into my account.

 

Do I need to take it out as a new deal and cancel my current or should the option appear? I’d like to keep my current number as well

I wasn't aware there was a problem as I was able to upgrade in April without difficulty. Now I had to spend an hour on customer services to sort it out for my wife's phone.

@pablok - the handover from Uswitch to your MyO2 occasionally gets stuck, and the Upgrade option does not show, for everyone, until either Uswitch or O2 (I suspect the latter!) fix the issue and the "Upgrade" option magically reappears. 🤷
