Hi @EVS

All Sim only tariffs work when abroad. I have one so I know that for a fact.

If yours doesn't work you need to contact customer services and ask them to check if you have a roaming bar on your account https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Please phone and don't use live chat.

Best of luck and welcome to the forum Welcome

Hi @EVS

If you have roaming turned on, on your phone then you should check with customer service that there isn't a roaming bar on your account.

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

If you are still having problems after speaking to customer services, then please do come back and we will try to assist.

@EVS

Your apn will be wrong for roaming.

If you check it in Settings you will probably see it set to "idata.o2.co.uk"

You need to change this to "mobile.o2.co.uk" for roaming data to work.

When you get back home, call customer services and ask them to change your data plan to iData for iPhone and then reset your network settings after 24 hours. This will then work with the same settings whether at home or abroad.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
