@Charlieboyoo @Yes if you are given the option to upgrade to a 30 day you can do that then give notice.
Some customers have this option but it depends on your history with O2.

If you are on a 12month Sim only deal you have 2 choices really.
Either pay off what you owe on the remaining contract, or upgrade to a Refresh deal
Hope that helps

@Charlieboyoo If you upgraded to a Refresh deal you would have to pay off what you owe on the device if you wanted to leave, which would be more expensive than just paying off your current sim only contract.
You should also check how good your coverage would be with another network before you switch. A better deal pricewise might not be so good if you don't get a decent signal in the places you frequent most. Try the Pay & Go sims from the other networks before you commit to one.

Interesting you mention about being given the option of changing to a 30 day sim only?
I am on a 12 month sim only and have been for the last 4 years. I have never been given that option and I assure you my credit rating with O2 is excellent.
I've just checked again and that option isn't there.

Well if you have that option then that's the best one to go for @Charlieboyoo
Note to self: Find out why I haven't got the same one?
