I ordered two new monthly contracts. Both were dispatched on 4th Dec. I only received one sim. I don't want to activate it yet and there is nothing printed on the package saying which order it is for. There seems to be no way to report a missing order. I don't actually know which order is missing. What can I do?

you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Get in touch with customer services @samwardill
Best way to do so is via social media (assuming you are on them) - links are in the guide below.

As for knowing which contract it is, they will need to know what the number on the sim is - so put it into a phone and call yourself.
Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

I was hoping not to have to activate the sim just to know which one I am missing. It is a Christmas present.

It's always better to give an active sim
It's very stressful and difficult to get through to customer service Christmas day
Even more difficult than it is now...

Pay monthly sims are already activated by O2 before they are sent out.

I realise this. However, when I am giving a phone as a Xmas present, I want to give it with a packaged sim.
I assume my sim was activated on 4th Dec and I am paying for my contract but I am not able to use it as I have not received the sim. This does not really seem fair to me. In this case, as I said, it doesn't matter too much as I hadn't planned to use it. But, as a process, it seems flawed.

I have never experienced this personally @samwardill, but I have seen posts on here suggesting that O2 will, if requested, give a credit for the period from when the contract is taken out to when the SIM is delivered.
Hence, once you have the SIM, a call to customer service might be beneficial :-
