@Lavinia

Who did?

How to keep number here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

When you join O2 you get a new SIM card - you then have to port your number over to the new SIM card. Did you get a PAC code from  Lebara and give it to O2? Once the number transfer is complete this process also will cancel any existing mobile service at your existing provider. A number transfer can only be done using a PAC code.
