Sim activation

I recently upgraded to the Samsung z fold. I received a new sim with but when I activated it I still couldn’t send or recieve messages/texts. O2 then sent out a new sim which was activated and I still can’t send it recieve texts/calls. Why would this happen if the sim has been activated?

Check if your old sim still works.

If so the new sim isn't activated and you can use your old one, or do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

Don’t know if it helps but I’ve gone from iPhone to Samsung. I have also deactivated iMessages

Have you signed out of iCloud on your iPhone?

Have you got the message centre number set correctly?
Any issues with calls?
Can you try your sim in another phone - do they send/can you receive?
