I've read the online guides to this, but a quick question.

I've got to return my iPhone 11 Pro, which is currently using the eSim (swapped from the pay monthly sim), can I re-use the old sim in the sim swap process or do I need to go to a store and get a new one?

@PhoneChanger It's only a guess, but I would have thought that your old sim was disabled when you swapped to the esim. If you have a store nearby it's probably a good idea to call in and let them give you a new sim and do the swap for you as well.

@PhoneChanger

As I understand it, the "eSim" can just be transferred by CS to a new device, or you can switch back to a physical sim in the interim if you wish.

You'll need a new physical sim though, so give CS a call and they will send you one out with your account details on it.

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @EmilieT all sorted, had to get a new SIM from the store which they swapped over whilst in store as they have to remove the profile from the eSIM before they make the swap
