Hello Ladies & Gents,

Is it possible to cancel my sim only but remain paying my phone?

If so, what will i be charged?

Its 24 Months long and in into it about 6 months.

I have been given a company phone and no longer need my own sim. But id like to give my device to my Fiance as hers is getting slow with age.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi @ChrisE our community guide to refresh explains your options here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-Pay-and-Go/How-does-O2-Refresh-work/ba-p/1014093 but as said, it isn't possible to cancel the airtime and continue to pay for the device I'm afraid.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@ChrisEJust to add....

Once you have paid off the device and cancelled the airtime, unless your fiancee is with O2, you will need to get the phone unlocked before she can use it. You could actually do this now via My O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
