Asking to see if anyone can help, I've just recently uograded my phone as my last contract was close to finishing, got my new phone and new SIM card inserted it into my phone but it is not working, do I need to activate it?

It won't let me use my data to get online but I do get signal from it 🤷‍♂️

It will be fine to use temporarily until you do a sim swap, but sim swaps are taking days to complete currently so you will be without any phone for a while once you start the process.
