Signed up for 12 go data but have 3gb

Hi guys Hope someone can explain what's going on. I signed up with an 02 2 year contract with an iPhonex with unlimited minutes,texts and 12gb data. Since Christmas Day I've used nearly all my data. My welcome letter says 3gb data.in my o2 account it shows 12gb data and 3gb data somewhere else in my account. I paid £500 upfront and 12 gb data is a must. Can't contact anybody via email or anything. So disappointed.

It’s because 3gb is the base tariff data allowance and the extra is a additional bolt on. Your additional data will kick in once the 3gb has been used.

That text message a generic warning about the 3gb that is the base contract before the 9gb bonus bolt on needs to be used. The text is generated automatically by the system triggered by reaching 80% of the 3gb.

As I said before this is going to a regular query so depending on just how regular, and it may be that the same queries should be merged into one thread as others have @Marjo @MercedesS and @Martin-O2
