I am really fed up with o2 "checking the line" I KNOW THERE IS NO FSULT ON THE LINE" the problem is that I am paying £60 a month for no coverage and had to purchase a house phone and a home phone bill .to receive and make calls from home.

Hi @Scorrieholm

This thread may help https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/How-can-I-sort-out-my-network-issues/ba-p/1014088

You could also download the My Network app and report through that https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

You may want to think about downloading O2 Ask which may help https://www.o2.co.uk/help/apps/o2-ask

Finally if you are having long term issues, then you could make a complaint https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain.....You may get a one off payment as a gesture of goodwill.

Important to note that O2 will never give out timescales for network repairs.

Is this a new issue or has it always been like this?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If your 3g/4g signal is poor try switching to GSM only for calls -

if you have a VoLTE / wifi calling capable phone with the correct firmware you can potentially make voice over 4g or WiFi calls  as if you were in a area with good coverage,  VoLTE depends on 4g signal and band.

Get a Three, Lebara(Voda)  and Asda Mobile (ee)  payg 3 in one SIM all from Asda, or wherever, top each up Lebara & three with a fiver, Asda have 10 free minuites pre loaded.

See which  of the three networks gets the best covearage at 4g 3g and GSM in your house.

Switch to whoever has the best when you can.

Here is a list mvno's, whoever you go with will be on only one of 4 networks o2, voda, ee and 3

If it's voda unfortunately you pretty much have to go with Vodafone directly - Deus animae tuae misericordiam praebeat.
